This outbuilding of a house is being furnished as a dining room with a kitchen, cloakroom, and toilet for a young family who want to live in symbiosis with nature. The greenhouse served as inspiration for the atmosphere of this design. A warm plywood core is complemented by a playful combination of tiles, mirrors, and ample glass, creating a bright, transparent space.
The green window frames soften the boundary between inside and out. They form a visual continuous line, allowing the surrounding landscape and the interior to flow seamlessly together. The perforated steel bridge connecting the two sides of the space brings the user to eye level with the greenery outside and provides an overview of the greenery inside.
This kitchen is more than a functional space: it is a living space, a green cocoon where a young family can grow, explore, and live together—in constant dialogue with nature.
